When you've got kids and full time jobs, it's hard to keep the romance alive in your relationship. Me and my lovely lady both work full time so it's really hard to balance work, time with the kids, so sometimes 'us time' can end up on the back burner. Now, we've made a rule to meet for lunch twice every week. We don't work far apart, so today we're meeting in Oxford St to check out the g star sale, and on Friday we're going for a pub lunch. It's a great way for one-on-one time, and stops us working straight through lunch. Otherwise it's wake up in the morning, get the kids ready, drop them off for breakfast club then head into work. Then at the end of the day I finish first, pick the kids up from the childminder and my lady goes straight home and starts dinner. Then it's baths, homework and bedtime stories, and a massive clean up once they're in bed! Photo: tanjila (Flickr)
